there is a very significant scene in this guy's canon where his partner calls him by his name for the first time, where previously he'd just been calling him "old man". SO my questions are: a) could he gain a memory that this person called him by his name for the first time, even if he couldn't remember the name itself?
and b) siiiince 'old man' is a pretty common phrase, but it functioned as form of address for a good half of the series, what would happen if someone called him by it? would it just be an ordinary phrase that has no connotation to it, or be like censored out or....???
ALSO just to make sure i understand correctly, the characters cannot remember any names of anybody, correct? including nicknames they gave others?
