Yep! For anything regarding Possessions, think of it as the character essentially having two bodies and one mind between them. There can only have so much focus on both things at the one time, but if they focus in on their object form they'll be able to sense things out with more acuity than an actual inanimate object.

Possessions can, indeed, feel pain through their object forms if they are damaged.
